
Kari received her BA degree in Criminal Justice from Lourdes College in Ohio in 1999. She received her JD from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, in January of 2005. She then was admitted to the Florida bar in April, 2005, and the Nevada bar in April, 2006.
From March, 2006, through June, 2007, she practiced as an associate attorney for a family law firm in Florida. While practicing in Florida, Kari donated a significant amount of time to the Legal Aid Project, through the Pinnellas County Bar Association, working one evening a week in their civil legal clinic.
In June, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, and in September, 2007, began working as an associate attorney with Willick Law Group. Kari practices all areas of family law.
After moving to Nevada, Kari continued working with the Southern Nevada Legal Aid Center by volunteering time at its Ask A Lawyer Program, accepting pro bono cases, and mentoring a law student from UNLV. In December, 2008, she received a Certificate of Commendation from Senator Harry Reid for Pro Bono Work in Clark County, and was a member of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada Pro Bono Project 50 Hour Club.
Since the fall of 2010, Kari has volunteered her time as a judge for the Truancy Diversion and HSGI Programs at Cannon Middle School and Del Sol High School.
